Fourth Industrial Revolution
“Nothing is as constant as change“, said Heraclitus. But the speed at which the world is changing seems to have increased immensely. This results in both opportunities and risks: Digitization and networking offer entirely new opportunities, while climate change and limited resources are increasingly changing the way we do business.
We are in the middle of the fourth industrial revolution! Under these external influences, in addition to technology, society is also undergoing major changes in its attitudes, expectations and mindset. The profound change in mobility is one of the global megatrends that will permanently change society, economy and politics. This is not just about electromobility, i.e. the more or less rapid replacement of the more than one hundred year old combustion engine in cars, but more generally about the way people will be mobile in the future. Driven by environmental aspects and the climate crisis, new legal requirements are emerging that cannot be met in the traditional way. Thus, new, disruptive approaches must be found to continue to move people in a global world.
Creating the Automotive Future
We at FEP are facing up to these challenges arising from this change and are actively participating in the realization of the automotive future by developing and producing new components and parts for electromobility together with OEMs and their suppliers.
